I just watched Torchwood Children of Earth, and my entire response right now is just, "I didn't sign up for this level of emotional trauma". I think I'll stick to Doctor Who from now on. I like my characters bent but not broken and definitely not hopeless.

Now I need to go in search of something seriously happy before I can fall asleep.
